Terms of service

These are intentionally written in plain language. Using Ladybug (theladybug.app and app.theladybug.app) means you agree with them.

Your work is yours

Everything you create with Ladybug belongs to you, for any use including commercial work. We claim no rights over your images, video, exports, projects, or presets. Your media is processed on your device and never reaches our servers.

The service

The free tier is genuinely free. Membership adds features like high resolution export, unlimited composite layers, background removal, and settings sync. We work hard to keep Ladybug fast and reliable, but it is provided as is, without warranties. We may improve, change, or retire features over time; we will not cripple things you rely on without notice.

Membership and billing

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. You can cancel anytime and keep member features until the end of the paid period. If we ever discontinue the service, remaining paid time is refunded.

Your account

Keep your sign-in email access secure; whoever controls the email controls the account. You can delete your account and all synced data from inside the app at any time.

Fair use

• Do not use Ladybug to break the law or to create content you have no rights to process.
• Do not attack, overload, reverse the billing of, or resell the service.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other people.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Since your work never leaves your device, you are responsible for keeping backups of your own files.

Changes

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will note it in the app before it takes effect.
